Origin

Agarwood — the dark, resin-soaked heart of Aquilaria trees from Southeast Asia, formed only when the tree defends itself against infection. Ounce for ounce it has traded above gold, and it is the soul of Arabian perfumery.

In the Air

Deep, complex wood — leathery, smoky, faintly sweet and animalic. Oud does not sit on the skin so much as preside over it.
