Our Story

Fragrance, the way we know it, has always been personal.

It is the scent that fills a home before guests arrive. The perfume chosen for an important evening. Oud burning after dinner. A fragrance remembered years later because of the person who wore it.

For us, fragrance has never simply been something you wear.

It is a way of welcoming people. A way of carrying where you come from. A way of leaving something behind.

That belief became Maliqe.

Founded in Texas by husband-and-wife team Ahmed and Eman, Maliqe was born from a shared love of fragrance and named after their son, Malik. What started as something deeply personal grew into a desire to create a fragrance house that could bring together two worlds: the rich scent traditions we grew up around and the bold, independent spirit of the place we now call home.

Today, every part of Maliqe comes back to three things:

Hospitality

Hospitality is at the heart of our culture and at the heart of Maliqe.

We believe fragrance should be experienced generously. Shared across a table. Sprayed on a wrist. Discovered through conversation. Given as a gift. Remembered long after someone has left the room.

Whether you meet us at a market, step into our home in Texas, or open your first Maliqe package hundreds of miles away, we want you to feel the same thing:

Welcome to our home.

Heritage

Our relationship with fragrance was shaped long before Maliqe existed.

We come from a culture where perfume is woven into everyday life—where oud, musk, amber, florals and incense carry stories of family, celebration, generosity and home.

We honor that heritage without being confined by it.

Maliqe brings those traditions into conversation with the world around us today—from the landscapes and character of Texas to places, memories, ingredients and experiences that inspire us.

The result is fragrance that feels rooted, yet unmistakably its own.

Human Touch

In a world increasingly built around speed, scale and sameness, we still believe in making things with intention.

There are real hands behind Maliqe.

Hands that develop the fragrances. Pour and prepare them. Pack the orders. Set up the displays. Hand you a blotter and ask, “What do you usually wear?”

That human connection matters to us.

Because a fragrance can be beautifully made, but what gives it meaning is the person who wears it—and the memories they create with it.

This is Maliqe.

A fragrance house built in Texas.
Shaped by heritage.
Led by hospitality.
And kept personal through the human touch.

Made to be worn. Meant to be remembered.
